A Study On The History And Current Challenges In China Of Media Controlling

The history of information communications is as long as that of human beings. Just as other social phenomena, information communications has a developing process without an even speed. The first leap of the communications technology of human beings is inventions of the paper and printings; and the second is the appearance of electronic media, which brought out a more rush process to communication technology and the top is the invention and applications of the internet.The controlling of media is that, firstly a political phenomenon, secondly a social phenomenon, and last an economic phenomenon. The course of media controls is as a mirror which reflects the process of human beings' development vividly and truly. In the existing records we can find some cases of media controlling in the last caesarism times, and we can find those controlling were so cruel, severe and unreserved as well, which just as those political governing in those times.On the early capitalism period bourgeois shouted a view that people own the right of expressing publicly without censorship or restraint by the government to defeat the squirearchy. Furthermore the media controlling became more and more weakened till it reached an extremity then turned around.
