The Research And Development Of OAS Based On Workflow

The office automation is an important part of enterprise information system, which plays more and more important roles for enterprise ' s daily works. OAS is expected to satisfy constantly changing office work demands, to realize exchanging and sharing of information, cooperation working, and scientific management and decision making. Based on the background of constructing China Netcom OAS, combining the author' s experience of participatation in the development of this system, this paper elaborated the related theory and technology about construction OAS based on workflow, and the process, and results of constructing China Netcom OAS.The paper is intended to make thorough study of relevant theory of OA and workflow, and determined the system construction' s platform and overall strategy by means of comparing and contrasting various present popular technologies. Then, the paper analyses and improves the kernel business workflow, giving a kind of method of changing workflow based on Lotus Notes. By means of investigating the current running situation and business workflow of China Netcom, the paper has carried on the system analysis of OAS based on workflow, deriving the general goal, the roles analysis, the functionality and non- functionality requirements of the system. Then, The paper has carried on the system general design, giving the overall solution, the software architecture, database structure and the security assurance solution of the system. Finally, the paper giving the detailed design results of the system, including the function, the implementation approach and user interface of the system kernel modules.It validated the security and reliability of the system that the test run in China Netcom is successful, especially realized the workflow control and configuration as well as information integration. Accordingly, the OAS based on workflow advanced office work efficiency and cooperation work capability of China Netcom.
