Moreover the traditional material circulation and other industries associated with it have been transformed into logistics gradually with the conception of logistics was introduced to our country since early 1980's. And, with the further reformation and opening of our country, logistics has made a rapid progress and become the backbone industries of many cities. At the same time the thing flows the logistics facility necessary and information system latticing has become an impetus to the development of the logistics in our country.With the development of the network technology the triple-layer(multilayer)distributed computing application system based on the Internet/Intranet has recently become an important domain of the network information processing and provided optional technology and method for us to carry out the enterprise logistics management over network. And the main characteristics of the multilayer distributed computing application system are : the multilayer structure which can be controlled, the ability to backup more users, the stronger data engine, especially the low cost of the system maintenance to the mechanism of the Internet/Intranet. This is very significant for the Internet management of the enterprise logistic information and makes it become possible for the enterprise to tend towards the E-commerce.Firstly, the basic concept of logistics was introduced in this dissertation.
