With the development of the Digital Earth, Digital Mine are continuously improved. In the construction of Digital Mine, one of the important tasks is to create 3D models including natural entities and artificial entities based on mine layers data, laneway data, drilling data and image data. And in this 3D environment, users can query and modify models information by correspond method, this thesis combine the virtual reality technology and digital mine together and take comprehensive research on underground laneway models and VR technology, bring forward underground laneway modeling algorithm and underground ramps design algorithm. In underground laneway modeling algorithm, through 'dynamic retraction and semi-interpolation' method to transfer complex connection relationship to unified connection pattern, and then create 3D laneway models conveniently. In underground ramps design algorithm, take full use of the two key indicators and transform the design requirements into the constraint conditions of mathematical model, and establish the underground ramps design algorithm according to requirement and the algorithm can automatic find the path to circumambulate the barrier. Based on the research of the underground laneway models, developing underground three-dimensional modeling system, in this 3D environment, users not only can create, observation, inquiry, modify 3D laneway models, but also can use texture mapping technique to shading environment and roaming in this 3D environment. All of this provide a foundation for digital mine.
