We live in a world with abundant and colorful information. With the characteristic of ample, exact, timely and credible, visual is the main measure to get information all along. Display technique is one of the most important techniques to transform the vast information to visual. With the rapid development of electronic production and portable mobile communication, we need superior display device with higher information content.The investigation of micro-display technique is rising in this situation. It brings us the vivid and precise display device which is real-time, energy saving and portable.As an entirely solid active light emitting device, semiconductor micro-display device is excellent, for example, low voltage, high efficiency, rapid response speed, firm performance and wide range of working temperature. The isolation grooves between LED pixels are of central importance in LED-array technique, which is the basic of fabrication of micro LED display device.There are four parts of the thesis.Firstly, introduce the micro-display device, and emphasize the development and application of micro LED display.Secondly, design the main parameter of AlGaInP-LED display device including the size and resolution. Analyze the light emitting characteristic of AlGaInP material.
