Octave method is widely used in acoustic signal analysis.But traditional octave arithmetic exists a lot of shortcomings ,for example,lower analysis solution,higher cost and so on.Method to solve these problems are new real-time signal octave analysis arithmetic based on multirate signal processing theory which is dicription in this paper.On the same time,the embedded multitask real-time kernel μC/OS-II as the operation system is applied during software design process with DSP. This application of OS kernel enhances the real-time performance of system and flexible of programe as well as makes maintenance of programe more convient.In chapter 1, the important way to analysis sound signal is introduced after summarizing the development and present conditionsacoustic analyse system.Then there is a discussion about the development direction of DSP ,real-time operation system and μC/OS-II as one of these OSs.Besides it also makes a introduction to the content and innovation of the research.In Chapter 2,some basic concepts about sound signal measurement are introduced,included character of sound,subjective evaluate standard of sound pressure level and detailed definition of octave method.this chapters also sets forth the theory foundation of the realtime signal analysis system based on the FFT arithmetic and tranditional spectrum estimate.In Chapter 3, a new high-resolution octave analysis arithmetic is advanced on the premise that deeply research multirate signal process theory and analyze the reason that traditional ocave method ,both time method an frequency method ,can not realize the high pricison analyse.In Chapter 4, according to the porting requirement of μC/OS-II, the dissertation realizes the port for TI TMS320C67 DSP with it's Integrated development environment CCS(Code Composer Studio) and finishes a test project to validate the result of running.In Chapter 5, based on duble-DSP hardware of analysis system , two solutions of octave analysis arithmetic, using μC/OS-II and traditional foreground/background system, are completed. Then there is focus on their advantage and disadvantage.Chapter 6 summarizes all research work above and outlook the future in the acoustic analysis system and real-time operation system with DSP.
