Past news is dated history, dated news is fatural history, fatural history is dated news. There are natural blood relationships between news writing styles of our country and ancient history works. Those ancient history writing principles are true, simple, implicit but having rich information, which have important influence on news writing styles of our country. News is an episode of history, history is lasting accumulation of news; news is communicating dated things, history has summarized past things, so news and history have predestined relationship. Modern news cause of our country begins late, and news writing style is affected by western model largely, but direct source of modern news writing style comes from ancient abundant and magnificent history works.This article put focus on analysis of the nature and character of the historical writing method, and it sums up the manifestation of this historical writing method through many specific news wrtiting examples. This article mainly analyses the importance of historical writing style in bringing forth new ideas,pointing that we should promote the interflow and corporation between journalism and historicism in order to speed up the development of journalism on one side, and on the other side we should strenghthen the drawing from Chinese traditional historicism methods, which will make journalism more active.
