A wearable computer is a new type of computer systems, it becomes a part of the user, and moves here and there with the wearer just like his clothes. This is the inevitable outcome of the concept"computer should fit humans".As development of the computing Technology, intelligent human-computer interaction is becoming the dominant trend of the computing pattern. This means computers are not only drived by input of users, they must supply services to users which they need actively without the user's requirements. Actually computer systems supply active services to users according to interrelated context information of the task. So context awareness is the base of intelligent human-computer interaction.The navigation system of wearable computers is an important application of context awareness, it is an indispensable intelligent module in wearable computers, and it is the embodiment of convenience, availability, intelligence in wearable computer. Optimal path selection and trajectory prediction are two basic questions in navigation systems.In this paper which is based on the project of mobile computing research center of HIT, two main functions of navigation systems in general wearable computers are designed: they're optimal path selection and trajectory prediction. This paper raised an optimal path selection algorithm based on rough set and a dynamic trajectory prediction algorithm based on sliding windows. The traditional shortest path algorithm only thinks about length, this can't satisfy requirements of the complicated traffic. So we introduce the theory of rough set. We use the concept of property importance, think about all the conditions, and get the optimal path selection algorithm based on rough set. Dynamic trajectory prediction is the base of dynamic information prompt, the dynamic trajectory prediction algorithm based on sliding windows we raise here is a memory limited algorithm, it can satisfy requirements of wearable computer navigation in reliability and real time.We tested the optimal path selection algorithm based on rough set with random graphs to check availability and validity of it.
