With the rapid development of sensor technology, communication technology and computer technology, as a new information technology, wireless sensor network is increasingly valued in domestic and international environment, which is widely used in military investigation, environment monitor, medical treatment, space exploration, city transportation management, warehouse management etc. It also can realize house and work environment intelligent. So its future is bright.Wireless sensor network is composed of large number of sensor nodes. Each node owns unique ID in the network as its address, which is the foundation and prior condition to network routing and data delivery. When the quantity of nodes is large, the static method of address allocation is unfeasible, so the network should have the ability that it can assign addresses automatically. This paper puts forward a protocol of address auto-allocation based on multi-agent WSNMAAP (Wireless Sensor Network Multi-agents Address Allocation Protocol), which can improve expansibility and uniqueness. Compared with Strong DAD, WSNMAAP has more advantages in protocol overload and latency in the simulation experiments.With the establishment of the absolute governable position of the Internet as the backbone of global wire network, the communication between wireless sensor network and the Internet will have more development and more wide applications. This paper proposes the asymmetric Internet connectivity strategy based on the best gateway, which uses reactive gateway discovery and allocates the IP address routing globally. Finally, sensor nodes can communicate with hosts on the Internet.As the Internet network layer standard, IPv4 is very outstanding, however, with extending of the Internet scale and more and more mobile users, IPv4 exposes various disadvantages. IPv6, as the substitution of IPv4, has advantages that IPv4 can't have, and it is the development trend of the Internet network protocol. So this paper is faced to IPv6 about the research of wireless sensor network.
