The Building Of Broadband Network Of De Zhou City In Shan Dong Province

With the rapid develoment of information technology, the PSTN network can't meet demand of the customers, it makes out the broadband network based on the IP technology. This thesis briefly introduces the hierachical structure of the broadband network : the core layer, the distribution layer, and the access layer. The core layer provides the transport of good quality, the distribution layer must have high-density ports, and must support multiple protocols, the access layer provides the interface for all kinds of customers.Based on the principle of designing a network, this thesis gives an introduction of several technologies of organizing a network:IP OVER ATM, IP OVER SDH and IP OVER OPTICAL. Then descriptions of Shan Dong Province broadband network and the project design of DE ZHOU City's broadband network is given in detail , including the network structure and the IP address scheme, the network configuration, operation and maintainence.At last, this thesis introduces several popular technologies of accessing the broadband network, and its actual uses in DeZhou City.
