With the development of modern electronic techniques, the demands to data acquisition systems keep rising too. A data acquisition system which would be used in shockwave field was developed after a series of research on the data acquisition techniques and systems.What we need to collect and treat with in this project is the transient state signal of shock wave pressure field. It usually has the following features in the examining process: as the examining process is a transient state single process, the time requirements for it is an exact measure; the examining environment is very bad, such as: high temperature,high pressure as well as strong shock motion. The most important technical specification for the high-speed data acquisition system is the system accuracy and sampling speed. So how to choose the devices and design configuration with it is the key for whether it can complete the high speed data gathering technical specification.This data acquisition system is mainly applied to the explosive shock wave test scene. The main characteristic is: The system uses the mature electric circuit form and favors the system performance expansion. This system uses the discrete integrated circuit with simple, compact and reliable structure.The whole system should be minimized according to its application environments. So, a microprocessor and a CPLD chip were selected as the core controller of this system. Concretely, an EPM7128s manufactured by Altera Corporation was performed as the programming device. Its high integration characteristic simplified the hardware design, reduced the system's developing period and enhanced the system's reliability and security. In addition, the ISP and download performance made the system's development more convenient.The software was made up of two main parts. Data acquisition and memorizing program was developed with AHDL under MAX+PLUS II. This part's function was to realize the control of ADC and SRAM. On the other hand, the data uploading function was achieved by AT89C51 and MAX232. The graphic program method was used in designing data analyzing and curve plotting program.This system's reliability was improved by using CPLD and microprocessor to realize the data acquisition.
