Application Of Learning Theory In Instructional Web Page Design

Content: Instructional web pages have been primary media designed by teachers and used for web learning in schools. They offer to mass learners a simple and easy way for learning. However, there are a lot of instructional web pages that are not suitable for using in learning, because, they are designed with consideration of pure technology only and without considerations of communication of learning content and the elements for instructional design, such as, learning needs. Based on the elements for instructional design, this article deals with several learning theories, analyzes the ways of using these theories in designing the instructional web page, and thus, offers a new way for instructional web page design.
