Domestic civil aviation enterprises have obtained rapid development in recent years. These harvests are contributed, on the one hand, by fierce competition in domestic and foreign civil aviation industry, on the other hand because of our unceasing promotion of tourism and vigorous implementation of the economic policies for infrastructure construction and investment. At the same time, these factors in turn speed up the development of civil aviation industry. Nowadays, so many domestic airports upgrade and transform their equipments; simultaneously they also pay more efforts to advance the construction in modernization and informationization. From the perspective of technical condition that we can carry out the airport modernization: Software technology, database technology and information technology have obtained rapid development and application in recent years. Technical progress enhanced the request of enterprises' modernization, and brought about enterprises' environment of informationization to be more complex .This paper base on the projects background mentioned above, embarking from the point of view of project implementation to discuses the implementation method and process which suitable for the middle and small scale airport flight information display system. Taking the Weihai International Airport actual factors into account, investigating airport's service requirement fully, we have designed a new Weihai Airport Flight Information Display System that used in commercial level. This paper can provide exemplary ideas and methods in flight information display system at domestic middle and small scale airport promotion and implementation, as well as following projects relate to airport that implemented by our team.
