Computer Aided Assembly Process Plan System Based On Virtual Technology

Computer aided Process Plan (CAPP) is an important part in the informatization of enterprise as the process data it generates supports greatly to the company's production activity. Virtual assembly is a hot spot in the research of Virtual Reality which has vital significance to the design confirmation and the solution for product assembly order and provides further support for complicated product assembly design. It operates dynamic simulation of the product assemble process by manipulating part models directly in the virtual environment, checks feasibility of assembly and validity of the assembly path. Based on the widely use of three dimensional CAD and the advantage of virtual assembly technology, this paper introduces Computer aided Assembly Process Plan system based on Virtual Technology from the angle of entire process of three dimensional product data by using virtual technology in machinery assembly design, then investigates the system structure, realization method and key techniques. Work is as follows:1. Research and realize the integration of this system and CAD product design system, solve the obtainment of product graph information and assembly information, and construct the layered product assembly model.2. Build up three dimensional product assembly process design models, realize the design of assembly sequence and path in the visible and interactive assembly craft design process. Release the entire assembly craft design process by reasonable integrity of the assembly craft knowledge and assembly sequence graphs.3. Realize dynamic display of assembly process and craft confirmation, introduce the layered dynamic interference algorithm based on machinery part model.
