The electric propulsion has become the development direction of ships' propulsion by its many superiority as an advanced propulsion way. The propeller takes much important place in the electric propulsion system. So there is much important significance to deeply understanding the characteristic of electric propulsion device by studying the performance of a propeller load. This thesis researches a load device which can more really simulate the dynamic performance of propeller.First of all, this paper looks back the domestic and overseas conditions of modeling and simulation, simply introduces the software VC++ and MATLAB which are used in this paper.Then it introduces the performance of propeller detailedly, and offersthe simulation system's totality control schema--using direct currentdynamo to consist of torque servo system to simulate propeller load performance; sets up the mathematics model of the ship and oar system by computing the ship and oar system's dynamic equation and shows the compute flow chart.Next designs the propeller dynamic data base system which is the one of the key technique about designing simulation device, detailed introduces the process of developing database applied program using OLE DB, and introduces Multi-Threading knowledge in VC++.Finally, Applying the simulation toolbox Simulink in MATLAB , this paper models and simulates the whole simulation device system, and analyzes the result of simulating, and simply sums up the control schema.
