An Interactive Distance Learning Platform Key Technologies Research

Nowadays e-learning is playing an important role in remote education, group training and tertiary education. Especially in tertiary education, e-learning is being highly valued due to several reasons such as the expansion of institutions, scattered campuses and the deployment of computerized teaching .The rapid development of campus Internet has provided a good infrastructure for e-learning, and has also pushed the widely applications of e-learning tools and platforms.Based on the teaching aspects and requirements of our Chinese universities, we develop an Interactive learning platform for network teaching, and integrated some useful functions into it, such as online assignment & tutorship system, courseware management, message management, and online communications.The paper analyses functional design and technical framework of learning platform, introduces realization in detail and summarizes some key technology of the learning platform.Now the learning platform has been used in teaching practice for one year. It has been proven that it has brought great convenience for teaching and learning crossing campuses in a university.
