In the later nineties of the last century, with the development of computer technology, multimedia technology, electronics technology and software technology, interactive whiteboard system has become one of multimedia tools used in teaching, meetings,demonstrations,training and so on. Interactive whiteboard and its system, which convert the traditional blackboard lecture mode into electronic lecture mode, will have a board application prospect in primary and secondary education.In this paper, the principles of interactive whiteboard based on electromagnetic induction and the affine transformation location method between whiteboard and computer screen, are introduced first of all.After that, function requirements of whiteboard mode are analyzed. Then designs the whiteboard mode is presented. Aiming at the current status of calligraphy education in primary and secondary schools, the use of interactive electronic whiteboard in calligraphy education is an innovate attempt.Using the drop model as a virtual brush model,calligraphy simulation is combined into the whiteboard system.Affine transformation as a coordinate transformation method can satisfy real-time, high conversion efficiency requirements,but it is still not accurate perfectly. Although the whiteboard system can meet the basic classroom needs, there are some functions which are not implemented yet such as recording lecture and improving teaching tools.These two issues are to be focused on in the future.
