With the rapid development of information globalization, lots of subsystems are built inside enterprises. Those subsystems normally operate independently and do not cooperate efficiently with each other, thus it forms many "information islands". Moreover, modern enterprises are facing increasing market pressure, business needs a diverse process to response to market change. Due to frequent business process reengineering, enterprise applications should response to the change of business process rapidly by reconstructing. And with the popularization of electronic commerce, there is growing need of supply-chain collaboration among enterprises. Therefore, enterprise needs some technology to integrate the different types of heterogeneous systems built in different periods and software systems across enterprises boundary. To overcome the obstacle, a new Architecture, which is called Service-Oriented Architecture, has been evolved into enterprise application. The application integration based on SOA can dramatically lessen the dependence and complexity among different subsystem. It also can improve the flexibility of the deployed system and promote to develop business innovation. Investigation and application of Enterprise Information System based on SOA has become a key topic in the current information system. The main work of this dissertation was focused on the theory, design and implementation of SOA. Based on the thoroughly analysis of SOA, a practical design workflow and modeling method are prompted, and some core modules of a Logistics Information System are implemented to confirm the above conclusion. The main contributions in this dissertation are as follows:(1) On the base of deeply researching on the SOA theoretical mode, this paper gives us an overview about SOA and the relevant technologies: Web Services, ESB and BPEL.(2) It analyzes the instance system how to realize the functions of supply-chain collaboration among enterprises applying with SOA mode according to the requirements.(3) The author designs and builds parts of a logistics information system on .Net platform and Oracle BPEL Process Manager runtime environment, and makes beneficial tryouts with the research and the result proves the value of Service-Oriented Architecture.(4) Based on the thoroughly analysis of SOA, a practical design workflow and modeling method are prompted. With the analysis, design and implementation of a...
