Enterprise logistics informatization provides a platform for information sharing and exchange between various departments, which can greatly improve the enterprise productivity. As the changing commercial activity and external environment, however, the existing management information systems have to be constantly updated to meet the new requirements, and these updates may lead to re-constructing system and result in a series of practical problems, such as: Waste of investment, impossible of resources reuse and so on.To solve such problems, a new SOA-based enterprise logistics management information system has been proposed and constructed. When using the SOA-based approach to design a system, system functions are encapsulated into a number of services. The approach enhances the availability of the deployed system, responses to the changing business mode rapidly and avoids the system reconfiguration caused by business changes.First of all, the thesis introduces the basic knowledge and technology of the SOA, combining with the present research, from the views of the existing state of the enterprise logistics management and the characteristics of business activities, analyses key link, optimizes the business processes, summarizes and describes the logistics management information system's functional modules.Secondly, based on the analysis of logistics management information system, the thesis uses the service identification, classification and design methods to implement some services modeling analysis. On this basis, referencing to the layer concept of SOA, the thesis proposes a scalable SOA-based Logistics Management Information System Model - SLSS (Scalable Logistics MIS with SOA Concept)Model, describes cooperative relationship in layers, and discusses the design of all layers in detail.Finally, the thesis emphatically describes the implementation methods of layers of the SLSS model, validates the SLSS model from the implementation view. Through the demonstration of the product sales business processes, the thesis confirmed the availability and effectiveness of the SLSS model.
