Tacit knowledge is opposite to explicit knowledge, it is a kind of knowledge which is difficult to be expressed with characters, language or symbols, etc.. At present, People have already domestically carried on the research of tacit knowledge in a great deal of fields. However, there is little systematic research in the field of discipline teaching. In addition, tacit knowledge has more field particularity. So, it is very meaningful to carry on the research of tacit knowledge in the field of the computer education.In recent years, computer teaching field emphasize "People First", advocate new teaching modes, such as quest learning, activity learning, construct learning, which basic spiritual essence are summed up in discarding and surmounting the tradition teaching which teaches the general dominant knowledge primarily, then pursue the acquisition of tacit knowledge. Thereupon, this research plans to take the university freshman as the research object, study the exploration of a tacit knowledge.All the data of this research obtain from the actual questionnaire. Our research is founded on student's actual situation, exploring influence of tacit knowledge in freshmen's computer public basic course studying. We also discuss how to raise the tacit knowledge which is related with the students'all-around development in the information technology teaching. According to the results of research, we summarize eight aspects of the tacit knowledge, which is impact greatly to the student computer public basic course, such as the Self-admit, the Self- organization, the Exchange & Cooperation, the Curriculum Belief, the Self-regulated & Self- development, the Willing Scenery of Effectiveness, the Trend of Experience. Moreover, we also summarize that a student have more computer knowledge, his tacit knowledge will be more accordingly! Therefore, we may train students' tacit ability consciously in the computer public basic course and carry on the education for all-around development.
