Development Of Digital Active Power Filter

In order to solve the increasingly development of harmonic pollution in power grid, people is making great efforts to development efficient harmonic decrease devices. It has been proved that APF is has great effect in practice. Based on the comprehensive study of the APF(Active Power Filter) technologies nowadays, a new and digital APF, which controlled by a DSP, is presented in the paper.In the paper, the development of APF's control technique is recalled and the characteristics of digital control system based on DSP are introduced. The principal and structure of APF are expatiated in the paper also. Based on deeply analyzing theory of instantaneous reactive power, detecting method for high frequency harmonic current is presented and the diagram of actualization for digital control system is put forward.In this paper, a full digital APF, which based on DSP is designed. Computing of instruction current and controlling of system is realized in one DSP. The design of hardware and flow chart of software are given in this paper.The experiment result shows that this development of APF is successful.
