The Realization Of Autoswitch In Home Location Register

Home Location Register(HLR), where the important data of all mobile subscribers in its donation area is stored, is the central database of Mobile Telecommunication System. Therefore, the security of data in HLR plays an important role.Because the current disaster recovery system is defective, a new scheme to safeguard the services of HLR component is put forward on the base of the improvement of configuration management module. This new scheme can detect the malfunction of database system and superintend the operation system connecting to standby database when the host database is paralyzed. The entire switch time can be controlled in several minutes. After the host database restoring, all operations on standby database should be recurred on host database.In this paper, we realize the function of managing and synchronizing configuration data. Then the flow of autoswitch and the backup mode are designed.In order to improve the system's performance, a memory cache is used. Then, the data coherence between disk and memory and between host and backup must be solved. This article analyses the structure of HLR database system and data organization, defines"Modified Draft"and puts forward a way to realize data coherence.
