The success of Internet has brought great changes to human's life, and its impact has penetrated all parts of the society. At the same time, the development of Internet has become an important part of the national modernization construction, which has produced grand economic and social benefit. However with the Internet application evolution, more and more shortcomings have been exposed in the practice of the current IPv4 based Internet: the limited address space, low efficiency of routing choice, lack of service quality assurance and security, which resulted in more effort put in IPv6 technology.So IPv6 has been brought out, which is developed to solve the IPv4 problem on the shortage of address movebility, security and other correlative problems. At present, American and European pay more attention to IPv6 Research and Experiment, the Asia countries, Japan and Korea, keep ahead on IPv6 commercial application. China IPv6 works later than Japan and Korea, but China Internet and telecom has big market and foreground, and has chance and potential to be more important part of IPv6 industry. The construction and testing of CNGI have been performed by China Telecom. CNC and Chinese Academy of Science have united to build CNGI, which has been constructed in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenyang, Changchun, Chengdu, Lanzhou. All these have provided the orientation and business motility for our country's IPv6 development. Using IPv6 technology to construct the next wideband networkservice platform, include the services of Network Video Monitor, VoIP, Multi Video Meeting, DVTS, and combining multi applications of Mobile Communication and Information Application. In the article, we will discuss the Jilin CNC IP network, how to meet the requirement of wideband and user, how to build the Jilin IPv6 wideband network.In contrast to IPv4, IPv6 system has a lot of changes, the IPv6 head structure has more flexible expansibility. IPv6 key technology includes using double stack and tunnel to implement transition from IPv4 to IPv6, auto configuration, routing forwarding, movability IP. IPv6 technology has foreground on IP telecom Network, Game On Line, Intelligent Terminal and 3GWe will build Jilin Wideband Network using IPv6 technology according to the strategy of CNC IPv6 and status of Jilin CNC Internet. Referring to the latest research material and characteristics of Jilin Internet, the article will do some research on Network layout, Device Selection, Transition from IPv4 to IPv6, Service Access etc. Jilin CNC Wideband Network is a large-scale Internet network on network size, include to Core Network (province network) and Access Network. Core Network takes charge in collection flux and can also access some service;Access Network takes charge in user access.According to the service capability, Jilin CNC Wideband IPv6 Access Network uses different amount IPv6 Core Router and Switch to build different IPv6 Access Network to bear the weight of IPv4 and IPv6 service include theoriginal IPv4 service. The IPv6 Core Network should use Hardware supporting IPv6 Core Routers;Router Interfaces can forward IPv6, IPv6/v4 data packet in linear speed. In the earlier stage, network should set Gateway of NAT-PT to make sure IPv4 user can access IPv6 service, and IPv6 user can access IPv4 service, later, the IPv4 Access Network should use double stacks, then IPv6 user can access IPv4 service directly. According to the access method, Jilin IPv6 Wideband Network uses NAT-PT access, MPLS Tunnel access, double stack BRAS access. The article will discuss the IPv6 Address management and neighbor discovery test, transition mechanism test and IPv6 Application test to make IPv6 technology and network more security and perfect.Jilin CNC Wideband IP Network will develop new service with IPv6 characteristics and IPv6 advantages on the current network, and make sure smooth transition from IPv4 to IPv6, and build integrated service platform. Provide a great lot of IP address to meet the new service requirement, for example Information Application, Movability Terminal, Industrial sensor, automat, automobile etc. Meet the service quality and high sensitive security end to end real time Voice and Video Applications. Provide the information and communication anywhere to people. Next Generation IPv6 Network will bring Jilin information infrastructure and district economy to develop quickly in prime education, information scientific research, medical treatment, energy sources, communication, finance, environment, industry and Applications, it will provide communication anywhere, all aspect of society and living. In winter Olympic game held by Jilin province in 2008 and the national Olympic game held by China, the IPv6 product and the applications will be also providedto millions of tourist and athletes from all over the world.
