Ipv4 Network And Application Software To Ipv6 Migration Study And Realization

With the rapid development of Internet, the tread that IPv4 transfer to IPv6 would become the fact. In a long times, the network base on the IPv6 will exist with the one base on the IPv4.IPv6 will bring great challenge and opportunity for the development of Internet, but IPv6 is not compatible with IPv4, it must be certain that many application which be used widely on th IPv4 can not run on the IPv6, so on the IPv6 we have not enough soft to run. The article investigate the transference of IPv4 soft to IPv6 soft .Of course, there are many types Network application on the IPv4, every soft have a funcation, it not only relates to the network layer of TCP/IP, but also relates to application layer. Consider the problem, I select two representative softs to do ,so the article can not deals with all problems.In the article, I use java to transfer the softs, Firstly the article describes IPv6 protocol, its advantage and the significance of the research. Then, I introuece the multicast protocol for the transfer of multicast soft. Thirdly, I deeply research the support of java to IPv6 protocol, summarize the technology of the transfer soft from IPv4 to IPv6, realize a multicast soft which can be used on the IPv4/v6.In the last section Design and implementation of the ftp sever which support IPv4 and IPv6 protocols with quickserver .The transplant the applications from IPv4 environment to IPv6 for a substantive exploration and research.Of course,these softs can run on windows or linux because we use Java,it useful the long way which IPv4 transfers IPv6.
