| This article bases on certain Telecom Management & Analysis system and OLAP demands on it, proposes a Thin-Client solution.The article uses WEBOLAP to develop the software system based on OLAP and Web's Features.Because cube can't be good for multidimensional visualization, we improve multidimensional type structure (MTS) and advance a tree multidimensional type structure (TMTS). It uses tree structure to describe a multidimensional cube. The cube is strengthened as a whole and the dimensions are allowed to move, it also provides dynamic query. All of these give the system great independence, integrity and flexibility.After the detailed design of TMTS, we realize it. Based on it, we realize a Thin-Client OLAP. We got MDX expressions from TMTS, data and metadata from ADOMD.NET. We maps multi dimension in two-dimensional computer screen by use of dimensional joint. We also give the realization of OLAP operation, such as drill-across, drill-through, rotate and slice.At final we optimize this system.The data warehouse platform in this article is Microsoft SQL Server Analysis, and the development platform is VS.NET.Two years of study in telecom provides plenty of knowledge on this field and related engineering theory and experience, while build a solid foundation for the realization of Thin-Client OLAP. It proved that this system has achieved it goal as a Thin-Client OLAP and supplied multidimensional analysis. |
