In recent years, with the rapid development of database and web technology, and fast application of information technology in depth, large and medium-sized enterprises and companies have established large and complex IT information integration systems, but also accumulated a great deal of business data sources to meet their needs. The transformation and upgrading of the existing system has been unable to meet the globalization company's increasing business requirements, and developing new system takes too much human and financial resources, which also loses the original data. The enterprises being in great demand of data integration, data integration has become a key issue that needs urgent solutions during the process of business informationization.Heterogeneous Data Sources Integration is to provide an interface to access to various data sources, an information exchange platform to integrate multiple data sources and the query results, thus shielding heterogeneity of platforms, system environments, and the internal data structure etc, which makes users achieve data integration, sharing and consistent query without considering the location of data sources, data extraction and synthesis of such issues.XML has already become the important standard of the information expression and data exchange on the Internet. On the analysis of the structure of heterogeneous data integration system, a Mediator-Wrapper way heterogeneous data sources integration has been proposed, which uses XML-based data model as the public integrated model, and can integrate multi-data sources including XML-Enabled relational database system, Html, Excel, Web Information System, Native-XML databases and other data in heterogeneous systems. In order to build links of different schemas of integrated system, this article puts forward to a way of schema mapping including the global mapping from output schema to global schema and the local mapping from output schema and local schema to solve the mapping problem between the global data schemas and the local data schemas in heterogeneous data integration system.Query Processing is one of the key technologies in Heterogeneous Data Sources Integration system, and query decomposition, query optimization are the core technologies of an integrated query processing system. At first, this paper brings forward a Heterogeneous Data Sources Integration Framework based on the Mediator-Wrapper middle layer, and further research on the XQuery query processing especially the key issues, such as the query decomposition and optimization techniques, and puts forward a query decomposition algorithm and lists some examples to illustrates the concrete realization of the query decomposition and optimization in heterogeneous data sources integration system in the end.
