This topic is a new product with the electronic information technology and the nerve science intercross-fusion, and taking the brain - machine interface technology as the main theory and the guiding principle. A telemetry navigation system suiting the free active animal was studied and developed by applying Automation science and micro-electronic technology. With the aid of the neurobiology and the electrophysiology knowledge, the specific stimulative pulses were exerted to the mouse's nervous system through the microelectrodes implanted to the mouse' s brain, which successfully regulate the mouse' s behavior. The mouse becomes "the animal robot" that controlled by human.Firstly, this dissertation outlined the principle of the animal-robots and its merit, whereafter introduced respectively for the animal' s .choice, classification of the microelectrodes and the micro electrode implanting surgery, and pointed out the question that need to pay attention to. The principle of telemetry navigation system and system constituents including transmitter and controller as well as application in the animal-robots were presented with emphasis. Experiment result proved its good performance, stability and reliability and the system especially suits the animal robot. Finally, nerve signal gathering, the analysis, the characteristic extracting and the signal' s simulation and reconstruction were discussed, which will build the good foundation for later study that the reconstruction neural electricity signals carry on the innervation directly, which make it possible for the computer to make up brain function or partially to replace the cerebrum.The research of animal-robots has well solved the problems such as insufficient power that miniature robots carrying, badly obstacle crossing ability and the inferior compatible question and etc. This research has provided certainly good hiding for military or the police using, and poured into the new vigor to the disabled person to be restored to the health treatment, and accelerated the birth to new biomedicine instrument and clinical medicine technology. Meanwhile, this research will impel development for some correlative science and technology (e. g. electronic information technology and nerve science).
