With the development of information technology, two-dimension barcodes have been used in more and more fields. Compared with other two-dimension barcodes, QR Code has some special characteristics, such as fast decoding, omnidirectional decoding, expressing Chinese more effectively. So QR Code is more suitable to develop in China.The main tasks of this design are to acquire and identify image of QR Code in high speed, display and reserve the translated results. These tasks are all accomplished by embedded technology. In this paper, the types and application states of two-dimension barcode are introduced first, then QR Code's basic characteristics, symbol structure, coding method and creation of data codeword are analyzed, then the choice and construction of hardware platform are introduced, at last, the program of peripheral devices, image processing and decode of barcode are discussed in detail.The whole system mainly consists of Microprocessor MC9328MX1, image sensor OV7640, TFT-LCD LQ035Q7DB02, SDRAM and Flash. OV7640 collects the image of two-dimension barcode and sends the image data to MC9328MX1's CSI_RxFIFO, which transfers the data to LCD's screen start address by DMA channel 2. Then you can see dynamic pictures in LQ035Q7DB02, and it entitles you to select and focus the images. Press a key to preserve one frame data of the image. Then binaryzation, edge detection and hough transformation will work on this image. At last the code will be translated, and the translated results will be written to flash memory and displayed in LQ035Q7DB02.
