Design & Implementation Of The BugBase Bug Management System

Building an effective management system for Bugs which appeared in the process of software development, deBugging and testing is one of necessary system used in software engineering-oriented management by mature software corporation. To develop a large-scale software product, large numbers of Bugs in the monomer test, the integrated test and the system test can be discovered. Statistic, classification analyzes and essential tracking are good promotion for the software corporation's software management. The Bug management system of the NEUSOFT is laggard, the code is hard to maintain and update, the functions and performances are also can not meet user's needs. As a result, the corporation anxious needs a Bug management system which is to advanced, steady, easy to expand and highly effective meet the needs of soft Bug management.This thesis introduces design and implementation of the BugBase Bug management system. At first, the thesis makes a general description the conception of the Bug management system and actuality, also the produce context and the objective design of the BugBase. Then, from the whole structure, the thesis descripte the whole design and implemention with three different frames which are Struts, spring and Hibernate. At last, exemplifing the Bug management module, the thesis descripte how to design and implement the UI Layer, the Business Layer and the Persistence Layer of the system with the actual business workflow. The thesis also descripte the design and implemention of the state engine module and the filter module which is the characteristic of the BugBase. At last, the thesis synoptically descripte the test tool which has been used in test phase, and analyse the result of the test.The BugBase is in actual use. The result indicates that the BugBase based on the design and implemention which the thesis descripted is steady and easy to expand and also implement the workflow of the Bug management in the software developing. It is a good assist for the advance of the software quality.
