| DNC( Direct Numerical Control/Distributed Numerical Control) is a system that using a computer to manage several or many Computer Numerical machine tools and distribute control program unitively. As to it's contents and senses, now DNC system is developed to a data control system whether in content or in meaning. Along with the development of LAN(local area network), database and workstation and the needs of development of the accessory process system, the distributed data control system came out. It was a plant production control system that aimed at the plant's base tasks such as production planning, technology preparative process operations etc. This system integrated the centralized monitor control and distributed control technology. The system object task is distributed to the subsystems by LAN. The subsystems communicate to each other with messages to correspond and accomplish the total task. This system have the advantages of easy expansion, agility, high dependability and well opening. Firstly the DNC aimed at the message integration of the plant. The goods circulate system etc. can be expanded at the time that condition matured. This technology make the system can be used to now production condition and improved the production ratio, also it's a effective path to realize FMS and CIMS from bottom to top.The dissertation aimed at the application of the data control system and data control maching tools of our country. Realize analyzed the communication problems of the elder DNC system, proposed a new DNC communication method that based on CAN BUS and used software plug in unit technology.
