Aiming at the current all-manual or semi-manual supplemented by MRPII / ERP extensions assembly plant operations management and control being poor of information exchange and difficulty in real-time monitoring the progress of work, the manufacturing execution system of integrated management and control in workshop oriented to assembly process was put forward .By analyzing the procedure-centered management and control process of assembly shop operation, integration definition method(IDEF1X) and the object-oriented modeling method-UML were used to model the information of assembly shop operation and have realized the logic integration of management and control system of assembly operations. Aiming at the complex of interaction between the data acquisition and process monitoring module of the system and various types of equipments, the works, materials, etc., the multiple information channels and interaction terminal was advanced. Through the multiple information channels and interaction terminal, the function of manufacturing execution system could act on the equipment and workers in workshop. So the integrated-running of the operations management, the workers and the equipments was realized. Because the final realization of the system embodied in the implementation of the various function, the key of realization method of each functional module was deeply researched in this paper.Finally, assembly-oriented MES of integrated management and control was developed. By the application of the MES, the workshop management level was improved, manufactu- ring process was optimized, and production cost was reduced, and the enterprises received good economic and social benefit.
