The Hong Kong International Banking System (HKIBS) is a customer-focused, product integrated application system. It covers the scope of businesses carried out within Hong Kong and Singapore Branch in a greatest degree. It complied with the Hong Kong and Singapore Monetary Authority's related requirement on Intellectual Rights, Data Security and International Accounting Standards in all aspects. The system not only can replace the current LEO Bill (Import and Export) system, it will be used to process International Settlement Data of all oversea branches in Hong Kong. This realizes the idea of having Hong Kong branch as the hub to process the related businesses product in offshore branches. The system provides processing capability in all businesses and products both in Singaporean and Asian currencies, as well as for resident or non-resident. In this end, it will furnish with the offshore branches a stable, efficient and flexible automating business processing infrastructure, and satisfy our bank overall plan in digitalization on business.
