GSM Radio Network Optimization Application

GSM is a highly developed technology, it is widely implemented in the world, is leader in global mobile telecommunication market. As large national enterprise having most numerous customers in the world, China mobile operates the biggest and most complicated GSM network successfully, obtained outstanding achievement and respect.Although GSM is replaced partly along with 3G coming, but in the period of high return, GSM have very strong life force, it will be main source of income for long time. China mobile always try his best to build the best GSM network, except pay very attention to 3G development, special on GSM radio network optimization.This paper have 5 chapters, after give a particular description around thechnology of radio transmit, radio interface, radio control and estimation system of China Mobile, it emphatically analyses the classical cases of radio network optimization. Combined with Yingkou operating network, the cases detailedly study radio frequency changing , optimization of dual band combined network, improvement of radio channel usage, half rate, Motorola GPRS channel improved configuration, deep covering along the coast, antenna and feeder optimization, these questions are also very concerned and tried the best to solve by China mobile. The cases give some special and helpful opinions and solutions, hope that can help the other mobile engineers.
