Research And Implementation Of KPI Stakeout System Based On OSS In Telecom Operation Support System

The management of Telecom Operation Support System to the network is based on the data. During the process of the operator's operation, with the development of the telecommunication technology and the going of the time and the size and the complexity enlarged of the network, the data information increased speedy. How to get the information which the operator cared from the vast data is the most important problem which everyone cared. Because the sharply increasing of the telecommunication data scale and the complexity of the service type, the traditional database technology has not been able to satisfy to the processing demand of the magnanimous data. But the appearance of the data warehouse technology and its the data analysis technology, which has provided the highly effective data-handling capacity and the good data analysis tool for the enterprise, and has provided a better support to the scientific decision-making analysis. Thus the application of data warehouse technology has become the inevitable tendency in the telecommunication network management system. The main contributions in this paper are as follows:1, Analyze the KPI in teiecom OSS;2, Establish the data warehouse based on the KPI in telecom OSS in telecom;3, Implement The KPI Stakeout and Analysis System based on the data of telecom KPIMake result browse centralized, and provide a unification interface to view the stakeout results of the telecom business. After the system test run in some province of the country from Dec. 2005, with the modification constantly, the system is satisfied the basic requirement of the telecom operator to the telecom business KPI stakeout and analysis.
