Research And Design Of Telecom Product Management System

At present, as customer's requirements for telecom products are diversity, telecom operators need develop new products in order to fulfill customer's requirements and earn more profits. Product data and correlative business flows are dispersed in different subsystems of Telecom Business Operation Support System including Business System, Accounting System, Billing System, and Customer Service System. Business analysis and decision support Business Analysis require consistent products data with innovation of telecom service. Service, resource, and charge can be modified conveniently and product can be configured in Telecom product management system, which gives birth to new product and product-customizing.This thesis summarizes author's achievements when undertaking research and design on telecom product management system in Telecom Business Operation Support System. In the first part, after studying eTOM / SID / PDM / PLM theories and specifications, the author brings forward concept of the telecom product, analyzes correlative telecom entities and relationships between them, summarizes lifecycle of telecom product, designs structure of telecom product and uses XML to describe product.
