The Database Performanc Optimization Research And Practices Of IP Mon System

Oracle is one of the most adaptable RDBMS nowadays. It is widely used in many industries for its support to many kinds of business and its ability in handling complex applications. As the scale of the application system becomes larger, system frame and applications become more and more complex; it gives rise to a lot of system performance problems and makes it difficult to maintain the application system.The performance optimization technique used in the Oracle based IP Mon System is discussed in this thesis. With the help of an online Applications' Performance Management tool, the IP Mon System is analyzed, an optimization scheme is implemented into the system and the system performance is improved.The research activities include the following aspect: investigation of the performance optimization technique; doing optimization experiments with the online Applications' Performance Management tool; verifying the optimization result.
