With the fast development of new enterprise IT technology and application, organizations will depend more on their IT infrastructures to support e-service and other business needs. As the increasingly widely use of new technology, it brings a lot of problems for Telecom Operators to achieve effective management and control for their IT infrastructure. Especially, Telecom Operators have many large-scale systems and complicated packaged applications. It is becoming more and more difficult to manage the IT infrastructure as a loosely interconnected group of components. It is very important to keep network and business-critical application running healthy and stable. Telecom Operators need an effective mechanism to manage their industry-standard servers, applications and database from the single viewpoint of the lines of business it supports.The main contribution of the paper is:1. Analyze the core object of the managed node in IT Service Management System.2. Setup IT Service Management System based on SLA ( Service Level Agreement)3. Achieve the monitoring and alarm of key object for business-critical application and IT infrastructure.The system provides a single management console to monitor the entire IT environment. The alarm message is centralized and the end user can easily manage all business-critical applications and servers. The IT Service Management System got online in January 2006. After continuous modification and optimization, the system basically achieved the goals of managing the entire application and underlying infrastructure.
