The Requirement Management Process Model In Hospital Information System Project Of Hospital A

Basing on the knowledge in software developing process and related theory of requirement engineering (RE), combining with features of HIS projects, the paper extended the concept of requirement management process of RE (i.e., plotting the whole process to be three phases: preparing phase, analyzing and defining phase, maintaining phase), and considered it as the base of constructing requirement management process model. Afterwards, the paper put forward a requirement management process model for HIS projects, including basic activities such as start-up conference, operation modeling, system modeling, requirement validating, requirement change controlling, requirement tracing and requirement state tracing. Furthermore, an actual HIS project was given in order to apply and validate the model. Through the practice, the paper discussed the problems of applying the model to actual project, and gave some suggestions on modifying the model.
