Performance Research On Web Services And Its Security

As Web Services are becoming more and more popular, it is important for organizations or enterprises to be familiar with the properties and performances of these kinds of technologies. Security of Web Services is the most important aspect to keeping openness and supporting multiple clients. The customers should know how to protect Web Services, and be familiar with the present solutions, in order to select the suitable security method.Firstly, the paper defines three Web Services processes of different function respectively based on mainstream Web Services engine Axis, and the calling of the processes is implemented on the client side. Then, the results are compared to find out the key steps affecting the performance of Web Services.
