The thesis is divided into four parts, dealing with the synthesis of anAmplified Fluorescent Polymer (AFP), the study on fluorescent characterized,detection of 2, 4, 6-trinitrotoluene (TNT) using the fluorescent characterized,and design of a new sensor to detect TNT.Two fluorescent monomers, 2, 3, 5, 6-bis (9, 10-anthracyl)benzoquinone (BABQ), 1, 4-diethynyl-2, 3, 5, 6-bis (9, 10-anthracyl)benzene (DEBAB), were prepared from anthracene and benzoquinone, whichwas analyzed and characterized by 1H-NMR and fluorescent spectrum. Thefluorescent spectrum prove that two fluorescent monomers both havefluorescence intensity. And when added some TNT, the fluorescencedecreased.The fluorescent monomer DEBAB was copolymerized with 1, 4-bis(cetyloxy)-2, 5-diiodobenzene (CDIB) to prepare AFP used two methods ofgeneral heat up and Microwave assistance heat up (MWS). The influence ofpH and temperature on fluerescence intensities of polymer were researched. Atone time, this paper evaluated AFP's ability to detect trace amounts of TNT.The results showed that the fluorescence intensities accorded well with thecontent of TNT within limits. When the content of TNT was in the range of0.44~3.48μg/L, the fluorescence intensities of AFP that preparating bygeneral heat up accorded well. The detective limits for TNT in CHCl3 was0.030μg/L;When the content of TNT was in the range of 0.52~3.63μg/L, thefluorescence intensities of AFP that preparating by MWS accorded well. Thedetective limits for TNT in CHCl3 was 0.036μg/L.Finally, a new sensor of detecting TNT is elementary designed. Based onthe AFP detection technology, this paper introduces a new detective systemthat using the two detective means of fluorescent and ultraviolet (UV),simultaneity. It states design principle in every part. The whole sensor wascompact, convenient of process, fast and sensitive. The sensor can be used fordetecting TNT in samples.
