Since 1992, digital evolvable thinking which based on Genetic Algorithms wasadvanced. It achieved great success in the many field of application and caused the concernof the scholars. A new school of hardware was produced through the fusion of GeneticAlgorithms and Programmable logic Device. In the last few years, this thinking wasintroduced to Analog Circuits. The fusion of Programmability Logic Array and AnalogCircuits produced Analog Evolvable Hardware. It has been proved to be really effective.With the development of contemporary electron-circuit technology, Analog Filter hasbecome a basic module in the high precision large-scale integrated circuits. Whether filterparameter were exactly chosen or not, to some degree, made an important impression onoperation stability and noisy index of the whole system. How to further accurately designAnalog Filter parameter was a problem worthy of research.This paper described an application of EHW thought to Analog Filter and expoundedconcept, structure, mechanism of EHW. It mainly researched basic theory of hardwareevolution and key technology in realization methods in detail, provided hardware structureof Evolutionary Analog Filter. It advanced Parallel Genetic Algorithms and Adjust ParallelGenetic Algorithms based on island model which optimized the parameter of filter. Thegiven algorithms that settled perfectly the problems of susceptible to pre-maturity andconvergent velocity tardiness have high efficiency. We take the evolution of four-orderChebyshev low-pass filter for example, propose the step of realization on parallel evolution.Finally, after the four-order low-pass filter was evolved, design results were simulated withPspice and Matlab software. The results showed that the design of the Evolvable AnalogActive Filter was satisfied with specifications. Programs in this paper were executed withVC++6.0.
