Study And Application Of Grid Information Services Based On GT4

To integrate and manage all distributed resources based on grid technology and implement resource sharing and cooperative work is an issue. However, we must obtain information of grid resource status real-timely in order to implement unified deployment and management of application system. Grid information service can solve these problem mentioned above. So it is very valuable to research the application of the grid information service.This paper designs a general framework of campus grid platform relied on campus network and analyzes grid architecture, grid information service and application demand. The platform is transparent, hierarchical and real-time by analyzing the framework and every function module.We adopt Globus Toolkit4 (GT4) - open source grid platform to build campus grid platform. We present a structure of campus grid information service based on GT4 by researching the structure and function of information component - MDS4 and the model of grid information service. This structure, which is SOA, can dynamically monitor and discover resource information in VO. This paper focuses on solving the key technology that related to the implement of grid information service, which includes the mechanism of information register, information's organization and store, information's collection and security problem. Then, we analyze organization structure and data aggregation to implement information service framework.Grid entity is enveloped as grid service by Web service interfaces, which shields the grid entity's concrete implement, shows uniform interface to outside and fulfills invoking service on demand. This paper builds a grid test environment based on PC and simulates the implement process of grid service through an instance. This system supplies a uniform entrance to customers and implements "logging once, executing everywhere".
