This paper mainly introduced The Management Information System ofSafety Production in Mine Based on GIS and it's development process,thissystem aggregates daily coal information system,database technique,the GIStechnique and the rescue and chain of command by electronic technology etc.the aim of the system is building up a set of advanced and useable manage-ment system, it enhanced the managerial skill of the coal department and theability of decision-making and work efficiency, it also provide the choice ofthe project when disaster occur and adjuvant decision-making for automatiza-tion and informatization of solving mine's mischance .It will produce a lot of data of different formats in the daily production ofthe mineral, because of the coal-mining particularity, the great mass of datahave a certain spatially attribute。For managing these complicated data havingdifferent formats and spatial attribute, but the ordinary management systemcan't adapt the specificity of the coal system well, we need to make use of thefunction of graphic display and managing data having spatial attribute withGIS.simultaneously , the daily production of the mineral need to enhance thelevel of the technical furnishment of the whole mine and the level of man-agement by scientific and technical progress, and establishing safety monitorsupervision in the mineral system can improve the mine's safe environmentand establishment of safe management system include omnibearing obviationof hidden trouble of mine and realtime intendance etc. we can carry out visualand intuitionistic display and analysis of the monitor data in the mine produc-tion , by making use of the interface of GIS and the monitor system. Thereforethe mine safety production most of which is spatially information can't getaway of the management and application of GIS. But in actual production, theresearch and development of the mine safe geography information systemhasn't been acquire the materiality breakthrough, the mine's leaders and uppergoverning body still can't quickly accurate get concrete coal's literal andgraphic information systematically. For this, the research and development ofthe mine's safe geography information system have important actual meaningfor the safe production of the coal and realtime monitor management.This paper is divided into seven.Chapter 1 Preface.This chapter mainly introduce the background andmeaning of The Management Information System of Safety Production inMine Based on GIS.Chapter 2 The characteristic and the development foreground of GIS.This chapter mainly introduce the related knowledge of GIS and one of de-velopment direction _Components GIS, this system is exactly programmedaccording to the foundation of Components GIS.Chapter 3 The choice of development with GIS。This chapter mainlyintroduce the commonly 2nd development methods of GIS, and compare thecharacteristic of these methods.Chapter 4 The safe production management information system of themine. This chapter Mainly introduce the function of the safe production man-agement information system of the mine. and Emphasize to introduce the GISsubsystem programmed by the author.Chapter 5 Design and development of the system. Mainly elaborate howto design framework of the system,how to prepare the early data,how to buildup the space database and attribute database,how to develop the subsystem ofGIS by making use of the ArcObjects module and the OMD of ESRI .Chapter 6 Conclusion and prospect. Mainly introduce the future devel-opment direction of the system.The main mission of establishing information system by making use ofGIS is building up the spatial database, the work is generally above 60% ofthe whole system development. The paper elaborates how to make use of Dy-namic Segmentation to build up a reasonable spatial database. Dynamic Seg-mentation is the process which carve up different alignment elementsaccording to some measure.we need vectorization to a lot of alignment ele-ments about laneway's graphics etc in the The safe production managementinformation system of the mine. The redundancy of spatial data building upby Dynamic Segmentation is low,and the maintence of the data is convenientand fast.It has wide foreground.The AO(ArcObjects) is the development platform of the application pro-cedure ArcMap, ArcCatalog and the ArcScene in ArcGIS household of theESRI company, it gathered a series of COM module according to the tech-nique of Microsoft . The layer and correlation of the objects are very impor-tant in the AO development, we can make use of the objects' organization inthe OMD to look over the objects.The whole OMD of AO is very huge, and isvery complicated to seek, so the ESRI organize and divide up the structure tothe whole AO, we can find out relevant OMD of the PDF format according tothe different applied domain.The Management Information System of Safety Production in MineBased on GIS resolved the problem of disorder in the mine's safe productionand management,it strengthens safe production management and monitorfrom daily management, it manages the spatial data with different format inthe mine's production availably, it clears up hidden trouble from everydayproduction,and quickens the reaction ability of the abrupt affairs. The systemmainly face the technician.it is a computer system which gathering importa-tion, conservation, search and the analysis of the spatial data and outputtingvarious safe information.The WebGIS is the outcome that the Internet technique applies to the GISdevelopment. GIS expand its function through Internet, and become a kind ofpopular tool. The user can browse spatial data, create diagram of special sub-ject,search spatial data and make spatial analysis by any node in the Internet.The WebGIS has various advantages of information share,good expansibilityand cross-platform etc,for carrying out the share and long-range supervisionof the mine information, this system will make use of the WebGIS techniqueto become the computer system that face different layers in the future, forexample ,technician and leadership,the company and upper governing bodyetc, and make it become a system which can share information, visit differentdata with each other, control by multi-users, analyse and manage the safe in-formation online,real-time manage and save data in the background databaseunitedly.
