Study On Application Of Data Warehouse Technique In Disease Case Statistics And Analysis

The data warehouse technique and data mining technique can manage the amount of sea data availably, and discover the worthy knowledge from it, to improve information utilization, IT is the emphases of the current database research and applied field. The scientific statistics and analysis using the data warehouse technique and data mining technique to the disease case information is the main basis of the hospital graveness decision and the medical science development. Although the data warehouse technique is already more mature now, and is used in the hospital drugs purchase, the hospital information management, it still doesn' t used on application of the statistics and analysis of the disease case.This thesis based on analyzing the Microsoft SQL Server2000 data warehouse frame and detailedly discuss existing problem and actual demanding in disease case statistics and analysis, study on application of data warehouse technique in the statistics and analysis of disease case at the hospital. Main work is as follows: Firstly, it demonstrated the necessity, possibility and advantages of creating the data warehouse of the statistics and analysis of disease case, passing to analyze existing problem and actual demanding in it. Secondly, it carried out the parts of topics of the data warehouse system, and expatiated data extraction, created multi-dimensional data set and carried on OLAP multi-dimensional analysis as the statistics and analysis of disease an example. Thirdly, it demonstrated the algorithms of decision tree and carried on mining and analyzing of data in multi-dimensional data set making use of the decision tree of Microsoft. Fourthly, carried on the summary to this thesis, and did an outlook to study on application of data warehouse technique in the statistics and analysis of disease case.
