Laser diode and laser diode array is increasingly viewed as the most expected laser and applied broadly due to its small volume, light weight and high efficiency of radiation. However, because of special wave-guide structure, angles and quality of the beam in the fast axis is greatly different from those in the slow axis. Therefore, with much higher requirements to foculize and brighten the laser beam, we must shape the laser beam in order to apply them. The method, shaping the beam by micro-lens array, is viewed as the most prospective one. Whereas, in our country we depend a lot on importing micro-lens with high precision and high price. The high power LDA module with those micro-lens can cost greatly and is not fit for large-scale production.Based on cost, we find out a scheme which is designed with fiber collimation and fiber piles turning.From the beginning, we discuss the theories used in the scheme, thoughts of the design and the calculation of data. Basically,we can satisfy the requirements.In addition, we stimulate and optimize whole of beam path by TracePro and gain the angles and spot of beam from every steps.Furthermore, we conduct the experiments and gain the efficiency of coupling and spot after the execution of the fiber piles and lens.It is proved that the scheme based on lower cost is feasible in both theory and stimulation and is very meaningful in practice. However, we can not reach the expected targets, so we must improve the conditions of technics and enhance the level of manufacturing in order to apply this method to large-scale production.
