With the development of computer and communication technology, the integrated control system is the main direction,and the configuration software for insdustry becomes the area needed to be developed. This paper analyzed the structure of the dispatch Automatic power system,and develped a configuration software for the dispatch automatic electrical power system.The concept and the whole frame of the dispatch automatic power system are firstly introduced. And then this paper discussed the design and realization process of Configuration Software for MMI(Man Machine Interface) system. The system that is fit for the dispatch automatic electrical power fields is designed and realized in C++. This MMI system owns plenty of mental graphics, provides tools which can generate engineering pictures quickly,supports the connection with real-time and history data,supports programming which embedded script language. It is combined with other modules (such as real time database, history database etc) to form the configurable software system of the dispatch automatic electrical power system.
