Global economy will bring global manufacturing. Each manufacturing enterprise will become a member of the family of global manufacture. In order to decrease cost of product, improve quality of product and shorten the design time, manufacturing enterprises must take advantage of the advanced communication and information technology to inosculate the advanced manufacturing technology. In this way, the enterprises can improve their whole strength surviving in market competition which is more and more furious. More and more researchers and enterprises paid more attention to sharing manufacturing resources in network.However, in order to solve the problems in sharing our manufacturing resources in network, such as distributed resources in geography, multiform of resources, autonomy and multi-administrators of resource. We introduced agent technology to solve above-mentioned problems. Autonomy ability of agent and harmony ability of multi-agent were used to solve the management and control problems in networked share and networked cooperation.After discussing the advantage of mobile agent, we developed a novel ASP platform architecture based on mobile agent, discussing the function requirement, the varieties of manufacturing resource and the customers of the plat. Manufacturing resources are encapsulated into service nodes of the platform by using encapsulating agent. The structure and of encapsulating agent model was designed and the flow of resource encapsulated was introduced. Resources are in charge of resident agent in service node and assigned by platform through network communication interface of resident agent.The concept and model of least-service cell were introduced. Moreover, the concept of the service equivalent quantum of resource service nodes was introduced. A service estimate system for the platform was designed based on least-service cell and service equivalent quantum. Service estimating system provides a standard for estimating the quantum and quality of the service of the platform. The result helps the customers to decide which service node is the most suitable one for their requirements.A description model of resource service nodes, which was used for speedinesssearching and going to the resource service nodes, was introduced including service equivalent quantum considering the problem of overtime.
