In recent years, P2P technology becomes a hot spot of research. File-sharing is the reason for the rise of P2P technology, and is also one of the most extensive applications with the emergence of many P2P systems. The existing P2P file-sharing systems have many deficiencies in resource search, transmission etc. Because P2P has distributed storage characteristics which make it relatively easy to solve the deficiency on resource transmission, it is difficult to find peers which have resources. P2P network embody enormous potentiality in resource search, but this kind of potentiality has not been fully excavated out, and need further studying.Mobile Agent can complete the assignment successfully by migrating from one computer to another on the heterogeneous network. It can make P2P have vigor further. Based on mobile agent, resource search has numerous advantages, such as variety, flexibility, expansibility, comprehensive etc.Now there is a lot of redundant information in existing file-sharing systems when searching resources, and resource search occupies a lot of network bandwidth and can not support complex query. In order to improve the existing circumstances, this paper puts forward to an improved file-sharing system model. The keys are as follows:It analyses several existing P2P file-sharing system models in detail andsummarizes respective advantages and disadvantages. It forms a virtual hybrid network by sorting peers based on different roles in the network: general peer, rendezvous and super-peer. So it can improve the stability of the network and solve the load balance of rendezvous better.Based on hybrid network, it puts forward to an improved file-sharing system model and meantime puts forward to a relevant resource search strategy by importing mobile agent and Antnest algorithm and optimizing rendezvous' RPV. Therefore it implements resource search better.Based on this model, it implements and tests a P2P file-sharing system which is named MAPP. The result indicates that although this system adopts a kind of non-safeguard search mechanism, comparing with Gnutella, it has certain improvement and enhancement on search performance, search accuracy, search efficiency etc.
