The Research And Implementation Of Ontology-Based Information Integration Technology

With the rapid development of Internet and information technology,the information resources stored in various information systems connect by network, which forms the huge network information spaces.At the same time the distributing characteristic of these information resources becomes more and more heterogenous, magnanimous and dynamic.These changes bring great challenge to information integration research. The traditional integration method can only integrade heterogenous information in structural level and has nothing to do with the problem of semantic mismatch and heterogeneity of information which make a great deal of valuable information useless to user.Ontology is introduced in this dissertation to realize the information integration in conceptual level and mine the valuable semantic implicit information.This method resolves the problem of semantic heterogeneity during information integration and remedys the shortage of structural integration method dealing with the semantic problem.Firstly, the dissertation discusses some problems in current information integration methods,introduces the concept of ontology,the applying approachs of ontology in information integration and the build of ontology mapping.Secondly,an ontology-based information integration architecture which realizes semantic integration on heterogenous information sources is introduced.Then how to build the ontology and how to set up the mapping are introduced.Next,the ontology-based semantic query are introduced.The query statement based on the result of reasoning global ontology is decomposed to produce the query statements on diferent data sources to realize the goal of unified visit.Then the implementation of prototype system is introduced,including the choice of key techlology,the introduction of key interfaces and methods,UI and system test-...
