Research On Information Integration Method Based-on Semantics

Primary Intention of Information integration is to the utmost extent shield the characteristics of data such as semi-structured, heterogeneity and distributed, consequently provides a unified pattern for users to realize information timely sharing in heterogeneous datasource.In information integration, we must construct a universal semantic model to resolve the problem of semantic heterogeneity. This model must be platform-free, and can shield the semantic heterogeneity of different information. Ontology is an explicit specification of a conceptualization;it can availably express the general knowledge in certain fields, and be universal semantic model of information integration.In this paper, based on importing the concept of ontology, and borrowing ideas from the existing approaches and system configuration of information integration, designs a based-on semantic system configuration of information integration, the main works and innovative results of this paper include the followings:Firstly, based having read many papers about Chinese and English of information integration, analyzes and compares ways and technologies of information integration, summarizes existing problems at present in information integration.Secondly, provides the system configuration of semantic-based heterogeneous information integration (SHII), and describes the idiographic functions of modules. In the support of configuration, users can furthest query interested information only through domain ontology, but no need to concern the processing and data source.Thirdly, describes key technologies of architecture, include web services, domain ontology, local ontology, ontology mapping. In the process of building ontology, shows rules, ways, and actions. More, based on description of mapping rules and ways, provides the logic configurations, concepts and relations of ontology mapping in the paper by examples.Fourthly, by examples, describes application process and interrelated arithmeticin the ontology building, ontology mapping, global task, task analysis, data access and data integration, and expatiates on the realizing process of module system.Lastly, combining the based-on semantic information integration and semantic web services, provides paching process of semantic services and SHII configuration based-on Semantic Web Services, which re alizes information sharing on mutildomain and intelligent manipulation on computers.
